Pensiunea Muntele Rece is the place created from the heart, where passion and love were put into making a home for all the guests who cross its threshold. A place like an oasis of peace, relaxation and nature surrounded by mountains and guarded by Bran Castle.Muntele Rece offers its guests 8 double rooms (4 with balcony and 4 in the attic), 2 family rooms and a 40sqm suite with balcony. Made in an authentic Romanian style, with wooden inserts for a traditional accent, the pension will make you think of the old boyar houses and rooms. Everything inside has been designed for the comfort of those who cross its threshold. Every corner of the guesthouse has been carefully decorated and chosen. Part of the furniture, being old, original and specific to the Transylvanian area, has been refurbished to preserve its paintings, value and authenticity.
The restaurant adds value to the stay by offering a perfect dining experience. Dishes chosen and decorated with skill and mastery by the Chef of the house. A perfect professional, with extensive experience and awarded throughout his career. Out of respect for guests, products served for breakfast are purchased only from local producers or prepared at the guest house.
Guests eager for indoor relaxation activities benefit for free from a room where they will find billiards, table tennis, darts and board games: rummy, backgammon, chess, playing cards and more. And for the quieter there is a small library and areas specially designed for reading. Tourists can enjoy a spacious courtyard, an outdoor terrace with tables, a grass field for ball games, a barbecue with wood in the yard, but also a playground for the little ones. For young guests to enjoy outdoor activities under the eyes of adults, all provided in a natural, green and safe.
The guest house is only 1 km from the center of Bran and the points of interest near Bran Castle. The Zãnoaga Slope is 5 km away, as well as access to most of the mountain trails to the Bucegi Massif. The Rucar-Bran corridor, Zãrnești and the amazing access to Piatra Craiului are objectives that are easy to reach.
